We are thrilled to be part of the Brookside Farmers Market this year. We were solicited by the market because we produce eggs laid from organically fed hens (we are working on getting the eggs certified organic) and were happy to accept the invitation. In addition to our eggs we will also be selling the produce form the farm, including the fruit from the orchard. At least we are hoping there will be fruit from the orchard. Because the orchard is being transitioned to being managed organically, we are struggling with some very serious disease issues at the moment. More on that in a separate post.
Thanks to all who came out and supported us on April 21s. What a great way to celebrate earth day!
Next week (April 28th), we will have more eggs, hopefully more spinach, kale, herbs, and other goodies from the main garden. Maybe carrots and radishes of we are lucky!
